Established in 1999 by Brent Kearney, Woodmans is the result of his vision to create a trusted, reliable and skilled firm which provides a professional, hassle-free service.
From its head office in Brighton, Woodmans offers a complete renovation service for clients, taking on an entire job – advising and assisting on all stages including design and construction through to the finished renovation touches – all to a premium standard.
We organise frequent meetings with our clients to suit their schedule (in or outside working hours) which often take place on site together with the Woodmans project manager, quantity surveyor and any other relevant trade people. Alternatively, meetings can take place at our offices where we have a comfortable meeting space where clients can see samples of materials such as tiles, flooring, wall coverings.

The company has a strong team environment which is a fundamental element of the company’s ethos; it ensures clear communication channels, efficient working practices and enables everyone to quickly and effectively solve any technical issues which may arise.
Our procedures
At the beginning of every project Woodmans produce a robust renovation plan and agree this with our clients. This plan includes set start and finish dates, coupled with a secured fixed cost and one point of contact for the client. This is complimented by our structured, regular client meetings, allowing the client to view progress and providing them with a clear understanding of the work being undertaken. The project manager, based on site, also holds meetings with all relevant staff to ensure that the project is kept on schedule and budget.
We want to ensure that we have effective communication and that our clients understand our transparent pricing policy and are clear about the progress of their project. This minimises the pressures often associated with building projects.
